Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 9, 2026

1. Who we are

Doctrine Legal ("we," "us") operates doctrinelegal.com, a platform that connects Arizona residents with licensed Arizona attorneys for flat-fee legal document services. We are organized as an applicant for an Arizona Alternative Business Structure (ABS) license; until that license is granted, all legal services available through this platform are delivered by Arizona-barred attorneys.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact information you provide in our forms: name, email address, phone number, and Arizona county.
  • Case-related intake details you choose to share, such as marital status, approximate debt ranges, home ownership, household details, or a description of your situation. Some of this is sensitive — we collect only what is needed to evaluate whether our services fit your matter.
  • Attorney-application details (for the "For Lawyers" form): bar number, practice areas, years in practice, malpractice carrier, and related professional information.
  • Technical data collected automatically when you submit a form: IP address and browser user-agent, used for security and abuse prevention.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

3. How we use your information

  • To evaluate your inquiry and respond to you.
  • To match your matter with, and share it with, a licensed Arizona attorney engaged through our platform.
  • To process attorney applications, including confirming State Bar of Arizona licensure and standing.
  • To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of our forms.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including those that apply to Arizona ABS entities.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

  • Licensed Arizona attorneys engaged through our platform, so they can review your matter. Attorney handling of your information is additionally governed by their professional-responsibility obligations, including confidentiality under Arizona Rule of Professional Conduct 1.6.
  • Service providers that host and operate this site: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security) and Twilio SendGrid (email delivery of form notifications). These providers process data on our behalf.
  • Authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

5. Security and retention

All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored in access-controlled systems. We retain submissions for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy legal and professional-records obligations, after which they are deleted.

6. Your choices

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements) by contacting us through the contact form. We respond within 30 days.

7. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as our services evolve (for example, when payment processing launches). The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
